EVERYTHING ON MY BABY REGISTRY
When I first announced that I was pregnant, I hadn’t quite let the idea of a baby registry sink in. But now that we are closing in on the third trimester, it’s time to research all the cute baby things I might need! There are quite a few big name websites that you can set up a baby registry on, and narrowing it down to the best option was quite a process. I was super lucky enough to get registry lists from friends as examples to go off of as a solid start. I ultimately decided that going with Amazon was a no-brainer because you can literally find everything in one place. Sharing some of the big items on my registry in today’s post!!
LAST POST UPDATE: Ten months postpartum. I continue to go in and update this list to include items we didn’t register for that we now use every day and items that we ended up not using at all. Hoping this is helpful, but every baby is different!

FYI Amazon Baby Registry is universal which allows you to add items from any online site with the click of a button. Amazon already has a huge selection of competitively priced baby items to choose from. I felt that this combined with the ability to add products from virtually anywhere made it the most convenient solution for anyone who may want to buy – or even send a gift. You can create your own baby registry here!
Amazon also offers a completion discount that’s available for redemption 60 days before your due date. The discount is 15% for Prime members and 10% for non-Prime members. Plus, you get a free Welcome Box full of goodies for new parents and baby.
I love that Amazon offers free two-day shipping for Prime members (non-Prime members receive free shipping on orders over $25). Plus, I’ve been told that flexible return policies are huge for registries too. You can return anything for free up to 90 days (even if it was gifted from someone else).

Okay let’s get down to the actual list of everything I am registering for!!
Apparel
I’m not registering for much in this section because you typically will be gifted cute outfits at your shower!
Newborn Socks 0-6 months and 6-12 months
Solid Colored Onesies 0-3 month and 3-6 months | 100% need these
Velvet Baby Size Clothing Hangers
Bath Time
Washcloths: Burt’s Bees Set of 6
Blooming Lotus Baby Bath for Sink | We used this in the sink until the umbilical cord fell off, and now we use it as a pad on the bathroom floor to put him on after we get him out of the bathtub + a station to towel off and put on pajamas.
3-Stage Bathtub for Tub | Used this as our bath tub until 10 months
Johnson & Johnson Safety Swabs | You’ll be surprised at the wax their tiny ears will have!
Hooded Bath Towels – practical ones + cute ones! | Get different size ones also!
Baby Wash, Shampoo, Lotion, Hand Wipes
Noodle & Boo / Babyganics / Johnson & Johnson | We also like Aveeno.
Bed Time
Hatch Baby Rest Night Light and Sound Machine | We initially used this in the beginning so we could see with the blackout curtains closed without having to turn on the lights or a lamp. But we only used for probably about 6 months.
White Noise Machine | Bennett sleeps with this one in his room and so do we!
Crib Mattress – read good reviews on this one from Sealy | Bennett actually sleeps better in his crib on this mattress than next to us in the bassinet!
Crib Mattress Protector | We have two, so that one is always clean because he tends to spit up when lying flat.
Fitted Sheets – registered for these on Pottery Barn
Bed Skirt + Bumpers | Decided against bumpers
Muslin breathable blankets| Mostly use these in his swing or lounger.

Bassinet
Okay I went down a rabbit hole on bassinets, and it’s literally a guessing game on what will actually work for baby. I’ve narrowed it down to these two options, but we ultimately haven’t decided on this one yet. I’m including links to both below so that you can read info on them!
Halo Bassinest | This is the one that we ended up getting!
Happiest Baby Snoo | Snoo is expensive, but there is a new rental program available.
Swaddles
Everyone has told me to try different swaddles to see which ones “work.” So it seems like a good idea to register for one of each and then order more of them once you see which work with baby.
UPDATE: From the beginning, Bennett did NOT like his arms swaddled and would either wriggle them free from regular swaddles or cry and fuss until we let them out.
SwaddleMe Original | These are the swaddles we used the longest because it could adjust as he grew. He would still manage to wriggle his little hands free, but we were most successful with these.
Magic Merlin Suit | THIS has been our saving grace. Once Bennett got big enough – there is a weight minimum – we have used the Merlin suit, and he is getting much better sleep. (He hit 12 lbs pretty fast.) He doesn’t fuss getting into it like the swaddles, and he can move his arms and legs around freely. We even have two now so that we always have at least one clean.
Love to Dream Swaddle Up Organic | We used these for a little while, but he grew out of it fast.
SwaddleMe Pod| We used these right after the hospital, but he grew out of them FAST.
Miracle Blanket Swaddle | Didn’t end up using this one, but people swear by it!
Ergo Baby Swaddle| Didn’t end up trying this one
Diapering
I think this section you’ll definitely need to test out to see what works best for you!
DIAPERS – Pampers Swaddlers or Honest Company
Water Wipes | Ubbi Baby Wipes Dispenser | Jordan asked me what the point of the wipes dispenser is… but he isn’t the one doing the nighttime diaper changes! The packages crinkle and are difficult if you are dealing with a messy diaper and flailing legs!
Ubbi Diaper Pail | Ubbi Diaper Sacks
Ubbi Plastic Bags | I have found wrapping up dirty diapers in these bags before putting in the Ubi pail help eliminate any smells even more. HIGHLY recommend.
Diaper Rash Cream: Desitin Blue + Desitin Purple
Changing Pad + Changing Pad Cover – registered for these on Pottery Barn
Waterproof Changing Pad Liners
Time to Eat
Burp Cloths: Absolutely get these multi layer muslin cloths for extra absorption. We go through a ton of these with spit up!
Burp Cloths/Bibs: Burt’s Bees Lap Shoulder Bibs | These are my favorite bibs that we have. Bennett now knows when I put this over his head that it’s time to eat!
Bottles: Dr. Browns | We got both 4 oz and 8 oz bottles.
Baby Brezza Formula Pro Advanced: We were gifted this item by family even though we didn’t register for one. Once I realized I was low supply, we have been using this machine EVERY DAY to supplement breast milk. It’s a lifesaver especially in the middle of the night.
Baby Brezza Bottle Sterilizer + Dryer: Didn’t register for this but once we realized how many bottles we would be using – and how much we loved our Baby Brezza, I decided to get the sterilizer too. Saves us from running the dishwasher a million times a week.
Countertop Bottle Drying Rack – I’ve been told to get the large one! | 100% get the large one!
Dishwasher Baskets: I ended up ordering two of these after we started supplementing formula to help in the washing/sterilizing process. Perfect for small bottle parts and pump parts. Holding up great after a ton of washes already.
Breast Pump: Decided on the Willow pump and will do a full blog post on this.
Health + Safety
Baby Monitor: Infant Optics | I know there are monitors that you can check on your phone, which is great if you’re outside of the house. But for these first few months, this has been perfect because it keeps me from having to check my phone and I can always hear what’s going on.
Thermometer for Ear and Forehead
Fridababy Bundle of Joy Mom & Baby Healthcare Kit
Owlet Sleep Sock Monitor | Didn’t end up using this
Pacifiers: Avent Soothies | Bennett ended up liking the NUK pacifiers best.
Tylenol / Saline Mist / Vics Rub
Alcohol / Peroxide
Baby Safe Detergent: Dreft or Seventh Generation
Travel + Strolling
Soft Baby Carriers: Solly Wrap | Ergo Baby | Used these while he was smaller which helped when he was fussy between nap times.
Structured Baby Carrier: Baby Bjorn | This has been a lifesaver for us at the 9-10 month mark for two big reasaons. He is crawling but not walking yet, so he wants to be out of his stroller. He gets especially cranky in the evenings with teething and shorter naps, so he only wants to be held. Wearing him around has been the only answer for both scenarios – plus Jordan loves wearing him too.
Travel Stroller: We use the Doona stroller in my car as our main carrier/stroller. Once Bennett started growing, I wasn’t able to physically carry the baby carrier on my arm. The Doona has been a lifesaver, and we are still using it at 10 months. I cannot express how much it is 100% worth the money.
Car Seat, Base, Stroller System: Decided to go with Maxi Cosi for Jordan’s car. One of the lightest carriers that we tried. We also have the stroller base for it.
Extra Stroller: Decided to go with Inglesina’s stroller because of the bassinet attachment – which we used to walk around the neighborhood while he was too small to sit upright. There is an adapter for the Maxi Cosi car seat above also.
Stroller Blankets – lots of options for these
EXTRA
Muslin Cloths: Aden + Anais Musy Squares
Snuggle Me Organic Lounger + Cover | Didn’t end up getting this
Boppy Lounger | We used this EVERY DAY until he could sit up. I like that it’s not too big, and he could sit next to us on the couch. It has a slight incline to it instead of him laying flat which helped with his reflux.
Rock N Play – RECALLED!!! We use the above Boppy lounger in place of this because of the angled position.
Bouncer – Didn’t register for this but was given to us after our friend’s baby grew out of it. This is another option for sitting upright after feedings once they are bigger. We used this one that vibrates.
Swing – Didn’t register for this but was given to us after our friend’s baby grew out of it. We mainly used this for fussy moments before our nighttime feeding to help sooth him. He loved watching the birds!
Play Gym – SO many options for this one, but this is the exact one that we got. I love that it has toys with reversible black and white/full color sides so that he can start seeing the contrast between the two.
Mat for Tummy Time – We did tummy time at least once a day and started pretty early. He developed really great good neck control!
Sophie the Giraffe – of course!
